Sep. 20th, 2009 @ 02:42 am Halloween art jam on Bogleech.com
I've mostly just been a lurker here for years, but I thought I'd announce something regarding my website. This past year I've been hosting art galleries you can see here:

It honestly slipped my mind to post about any of these before, but they're still open for submission if anyone is interested...or you can contribute to the new one for Halloween 09!

Every year from August to November, I scour retail chains for the most interesting generic creatures to take home. All manner of weird, nameless whatsits like these:

So, what I'm looking for is artwork depicting *any* of the odd monsters in my public collection, or if you wish, any actual Halloween item *you* have as long as you can include a photograph for comparison (which will be an integral feature of the gallery) AVOID characters from movies or television shows; we want to reinterpret generic seasonal stuff here!

You can send your creations to bogleech@hotmail.com or contact me through AIM (scythemantis) or Deviantart (also scythemantis)

The gallery is to go up between October 27 and Halloween itself, but late entries will be accepted indefinitely, so don't sweat it too much. ANY AND ALL styles, mediums, interpretations, overall quality, number of entries and overall tastefulness will be accepted. Not for profit, not a contest, just something fun. Also posting this to a couple other journals I watch.

Sep. 3rd, 2009 @ 10:31 pm Store's Open and New Designs in the Works!
I took a brief hiatus recently to rest, travel and start a new job. I needed to organize everything before I could get back into stuff full swing. We are working on rearranging the house so that the basement will be ALL MINE!!! Its coming along but I think we will be motivated to finish once it starts to get cold and the need to go outside wanes. I posted the Distressed version of the Bartertown shirt up in the shop. You can pick your level of Beat Down and let me know. Ranges from a light smattering to "holy shit my face!"

I have some new designs brewing and they are gonna be sweat. I think they'll be ready in a week or two. I have to order new screens! How exciting! So stop by and check out all the phat lootz!!
